Kumari Shah, 31 Years old, Shared Her Happiness After Receiving Relief Items

‘Now I can cook food for my family and feed my children’. A 31 years old woman, Kumari Shah from Puraniya, Gachitole-3, Bara, Nepal shared misery caused by tornado.  "When the windstorm hit our village, I was at home with my children. Kids were about to sleep and suddenly a loud sound was heard, it was a strong wind and our roof was taken away. A broken part of roof fell down and hit my mother-in-law's head and injured her, she was bleeding. Immediately, she was taken to the hospital with the help of a neighbor. It’s been more than a week, she is still in hospital." She elaborated, "now I can cook food and feed my children as well as other members in my family." She had not received any relief items till then.
