70 years Asthma patient shared her emotion after 3 days Health Camp

‘Throat cough comes to me’- one patient from palati, Barhabishe-4 of Sindupalchowk district respond to a VCN team. We got wonder! We asked her and her husband about the throat; how, when and where the problem raised. Later she clarified that she was suffering from ‘asthma’.

We started panting walking ups and down’s of the mountainous road. We not only wondered but influenced knowing that there are sick people walked on foot for continuous long hours through difficult trail for heath checkup. Further, some of the women came with their child on their back. From the talk with the senior citizens, their innocence and simplicity got reflected. They were not aware about the health facility and health rights. Also, not aware of free medicines provided by the government of Nepal. It is understood that root of the problem is not the innocence people of the mid hills but educated class of capital. The awareness in the community hasn’t reach yet as everyone have expected.
